Spring has sprung!

SINCE our last column we have seen the annual Seriously Shiraz Wine event return to the region, the East Grampians Health Service opened the doors to enable the public to observe their recent $8.6 million redevelopment and the new monthly Cars ‘n’ Coffee event took place at the Ararat Town Hall. All signs that we’re ready to shake off our Winter torpor and get out and about again.

As we wave goodbye and good riddance to the dreaded flu season The Federal Government has announced a change to the isolation requirements for people who have tested positive to COVID-19. From Friday, September 9, people who have tested positive will only need to isolate for five days instead of seven, but this is only if they have no symptoms. People experiencing symptoms need to stay home until they are no longer symptomatic.
